Introduction NMNPC members are invited to apply for scholarship awards annually. The application period runs from December 1 through January 31. These scholarships support RN students preparing to become nurse practitioners as well as practicing NPs who are pursuing advanced nursing degrees, in alignment with the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council’s mission. Additional funding from the New Mexico Board of Nursing (NMBON) allows NMNPC to expand the number of awards available.
