Florida 4-H Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Florida 4-H Club Foundation
Purpose
The 4-H Scholarship Application helps senior members (ages 14–18) collect and present the skills, leadership, and accomplishments they developed through 4-H. The process teaches youth to prioritize accomplishments and produce professional application materials that can be used for scholarships, awards, and educational travel opportunities.
Who should apply
Senior 4-H members (14–18 years old) are encouraged to complete and submit a scholarship application to the Florida 4-H State Office. Many state awards, trips, and college scholarships are awarded based on the achievements described in these applications.
Important timeline
- April 1 at 9:00 AM — Online scholarship application and references become available.
- June 1 at 4:00 PM — Online application and references close. Submissions received after this date and time will not be accepted.
Note: References must be completed by June 1, no later than 4:00 PM. Applicants should enter their references’ contact information early so referees have adequate time to respond before the deadline.

Before you submit
Review your application materials with your local 4-H agent, club leader, and/or a parent or guardian. The State 4-H Office recommends consulting the full 4-H scholarship application packet and having a 4-H professional locally review your documents. After that review, you will be ready to submit your completed application.
