This opportunity is aimed at undergraduate students at George Mason University who want to explore political economy more deeply. The program is called the Undergraduate Scholars program.
Admissions and deadlines
The program uses rolling admissions and reviews applications on a monthly basis. If you submit an application after the deadlines shown below, it may be considered for a later semester rather than the current one.
- Final deadline to participate in the Fall semester: May 30
- Final deadline to participate in the Spring semester: January 15
Award details
Participants may receive up to $1,000 per semester. The award may cover:
- A stipend
- Meals and all required course readings
- Guidance on research projects, career opportunities, and graduate school planning
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Undergraduate Scholars program you must be either:
- Currently enrolled in a degree-granting undergraduate program at George Mason University, or
- In the process of applying to a degree-granting undergraduate program at George Mason University
Applications are evaluated monthly under the rolling admissions policy.
