Introduction
OVC, INC. offers digital marketing solutions tailored to attorneys and law firms, helping legal professionals reach people who need their services. We respect the commitment required to earn a law degree, build a practice, and provide strong legal advocacy. The Lawyers Give Back Scholarship is our way of investing in future attorneys who intend to serve disadvantaged communities.
Scholarship overview
The OVC, INC. Lawyers Give Back Scholarship awards one recipient $1,000 to help cover tuition and other school-related expenses. This grant is intended for current or prospective law students who plan to dedicate part of their legal careers to serving underserved populations through pro bono representation, community workshops, educational seminars, or similar public-interest efforts.
Who is eligible
You may apply if you meet all of the following:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Are a United States citizen
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Will be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate program or law school for the upcoming semester
Application requirements
Submit the following materials:
1. A video response (about 2–3 minutes) addressing this prompt:
- Given the demands of legal practice, how will you maintain a long-term commitment to pro bono work? Explain how you plan to balance professional duties with ongoing service to individuals or communities lacking access to legal assistance.
2. An official or unofficial academic transcript
3. A headshot image (JPEG format required)
4. Contact information: full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
Selection process
Applications will be evaluated by our team and one winner will be chosen based on:
- Creativity and originality
- Clear articulation of your future plans and vision
- Strength and quality of the video submission
Notification and publicity
The scholarship recipient will be notified by email on or before June 11, 2026. By accepting the award, the winner agrees to allow OVC, INC. to use their name, photograph, and written response on our website and in marketing materials.
Award disbursement / DISCLAIMER
We will mail the scholarship check directly to the winner’s school financial aid office. Once mailed, it is the institution’s responsibility to apply the funds to the student’s account. If there is a delay in the check reaching your account, please contact your university’s financial aid office for assistance.
