HOW TO APPLY
Start a new online application or continue editing a saved one through our application portal. Applications must be fully submitted by the late‑May deadline to be eligible for consideration for funding.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Foundation uses the following requirements to identify scholarship recipients whose support aligns with our mission:
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
- Applicants must have significant bilateral hearing loss. Specifically, a minimum unaided hearing loss of 50 dB in each ear is required, documented on an audiogram by either the speech reception threshold (SRT) or the pure tone average (PTA).
- Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited, nonprofit college or university located in the United States. Applications for graduate-level studies or high school tuition will not be considered.
SELECTION PROCESS AND NONDISCRIMINATION
Meeting the above requirements does not guarantee an award; candidates are evaluated on how well they meet these criteria and support the Foundation’s goals. Applicants are considered without regard to age, sex, race, ethnicity, or geographic location. Final scholarship decisions are made by the Foundation’s board of directors or by individuals the board designates.
