Introduction
Before submitting, read all instructions carefully. Applicants are responsible for confirming that their form is complete, signed, and that all supporting materials (official documents, references, and essay or video link) have been received by USA-WWF by the deadline. Double-check all items.
Eligibility
- Be an incoming freshman through incoming senior enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited two- or four-year college, or be enrolled at an accredited trade school. (See the online link for details.)
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a current, active member of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports (for example: AWSA, ABC, AKA, NCWSA, NSSA, NWSRA, USA-AWSWS, USA-WB, or USHA).
- The award is available only to undergraduate students and may be granted for up to three academic years. Recipients must be enrolled full-time and attend for the entire academic year in which the award is received.
Deadlines and Notification
- Completed applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 1 of the award year.
- All recipients will be notified no later than July 15 of the award year.
Application Requirements (submit all of the following)
1. A fully completed online application.
2. An essay or video that addresses the specified essay question.
3. Two current letters of recommendation submitted with the application.
4. Academic documentation showing courses taken, grades, and GPA (transcript or grade report). Documentation must verify either ongoing coursework or current full-time student status in good standing. If you will be a college freshman, include your high school records and proof of college enrollment.
