SFPGA Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by South Florida PGA
Overview
Beginning in 2026, the Foundation Board of Directors will award two high school seniors with $30,000 scholarships to assist with college expenses. Each award is paid out across the recipient’s four years of undergraduate study. Applications for the 2026 cycle are now being accepted — apply online.
Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy ALL of the following requirements:
- Be a high school senior at the time the application is submitted.
- Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Be a permanent resident of one of the following Florida counties:
- Broward
- Charlotte
- Collier
- Glades
- Hendry
- Indian River
- Lee
- Martin
- Miami-Dade
- Monroe
- Okeechobee
- Palm Beach
- St. Lucie
In addition to the above, applicants must meet at least ONE of these criteria:
- Currently work in the golf industry.
- Have a parent or grandparent who works in or is retired from the golf industry (examples include PGA/LPGA professionals, superintendents, sales representatives, club employees, or club managers).
- Have taken part in SFPGA Foundation outreach programs such as:
- SFPGA Junior Tour (current or former member)
- Habitat for Humanity
- Smiling Fore Life
- PGA HOPE
- 10ALL In Camp
