Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Emily's Light Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Emily Inin Burnett Memorial Scholarships are designed to honor Emily's legacy of inspiring others through her personal and academic accomplishments.
An independent committee, primarily consisting of individuals who were acquainted with Emily or are involved in cystic fibrosis research or treatment, evaluates all applications. The committee scores applications based on essay responses, academic and extracurricular achievements, and writing quality. Scholarship recipients will be informed of their award in late August, with the funds being transferred directly to their educational institution, typically within ten business days of the announcement.
Emily's positive outlook, vitality, and achievements in both personal and academic spheres inspired many. The Emily’s Light scholarship awards aim to honor those in the CF community who embody similar qualities.
