The FICPA Scholarship Foundation has been providing financial assistance to students aspiring to join the accounting profession since 1959. Our mission is to provide support and foster success for current and future CPAs.
In 2024, we proudly awarded more than 70 scholarships through our Foundation Scholarship, CPA Exam Prep Scholarship, and Bridge to CPA programs, supporting some of the brightest and most promising accounting students across Florida.

In 2024, we awarded over 60 scholarships to some of the most talented and promising accounting students from 21 universities across the state of Florida.
Who is eligible to apply?
Eligible applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Full-time or part-time college student (as defined by your college/university)
- Majoring in Accounting or a related subject
- Attending any partnering college or university in the State of Florida with an accredited Accounting Program
- Be an active member of the FICPA (it is free for students - Join HERE)
- Have at least a 3.0 Cumulative GPA and at least a 3.0 Upper-level Accounting GPA at the time of submission.
- Must be at least a rising college senior or Graduate student with at least one Upper-Division Accounting course at the time of submission.
- Must be planning to sit for the CPA exam and be actively working towards fulfilling the requirements for certification in Florida.
- Must indicate a desire to work in Florida.
- Must be a citizen of the United States or hold permanent residency status.
